Charterhouse School is where we stayed. A short, scenic walk down the hill and along a river leads to the quaint old town of Godalming, Surrey.
We used a wide variety of methods of transportation : airplane, private coach, public bus, The Tube, minivan, private car, boat and foot. See us on the move.

The Adventures of Peninsula School Kids in England
In July of 2007 these 6th to 8th graders from Peninsula School went on a trip to England.
They were chaperoned by Bar bie Paulsen, the weaving teacher, and Misha Merrill, the librarian.
On most touring days we went to at
least two places. Here is an interactive calendar of where we went each day.
After many trips into London with ISCA guides, we had a day to explore London on our own. After dinner, we met up with the entire ISCA group to see a show.
The energetic and enthusuastic English staff met us at the airports, guided us through the sights and taught us cricket, rugby and fives.
The American staff also contributed to the program, bringing their own expertise and experience as we shepherded dozens of kids. We had a couple of lovely "Teachers' Days Out" while the English staff were on campus with the kids.
